Eligibility criteria 

The following eligibility criteria are prescribed for the aspiring candidates to apply for SSC GD 2025:

Educational Qualification

Candidates who are applying for this , the minimum education requirements is 10th from a recognised institution.

Age Limit

Minimum Age : 18 Years MaximumAge: 23 years as on 1st January, of the year concerned It means that the candidate is born between 02nd January 2002 to 01st January 2007 can apply for this. But there is Age Relaxation in case of Reservation categories.

-OBC: 3 years

-SC/ST: 5 years

-ExServicemen: 3 years after deduction of the military service rendered from actual age as on date.

-There are further relaxations for the victims of the 1984 riots and 2002 communal riots in Gujarat.

Application Process

Process of Application for SSC GD 2025: The following is a step by step guide departing you:

1. Applicable: Visit the SSC official website  https://ssc.gov.in/   and register yourself by filling the details. You will receive a unique registration ID and password after successful completion of the registration.

2. Application form will be displayed , You have to fill your personal details, educational qualification and contact address for registration.

3. Upload Documents: You will have to upload your scanned passport size photograph and signature in the specified format.

4.Educational qualification: Minimum educational qualification is 10th  pass and the application fee for General candidates- Rs.100 No fee for SC/ST/ Female candidates & Ex Servicemen and economically weaker sections. They can pay via the online modes of credit/debit cards and Net Banking.

5. Apply: Once you have filled in all the details go through your application once and click on submit. Do not forget to take a printout of the application form for future use.

Selection Process

SSC GD Recruitment consists of different tiers to get only the best candidates for work. The process includes:

1. Computer Based Test (CBT): The initial stage of selection shall be the Computer Based Test… This is a multiple choice exam that tests the candidates on General Intelligence,General Knowledge, Elementary Mathematics and English/Hindi.

2. Physical Efficiency Test (PET): Candidates who clear the CBT are eligible to appear for Physical Efficiency Test. This test checks the physical fitness of aspirants.
